mark as unread in hotmail...why???

why would u want to mark something as unread after u open it to see what was in it .....? why is there an Mark as Unread button on the hotmail toolbar.?????

Perhaps to draw attention to it for further action later or to leave it for another person to read later.
It's so, when you're reading another persons mail, they can't tell you've read it!
I don't use Hotmail, but in Outlook Express I do sometimes mark messages I've read as "unread" in order not to lose it.
I know its evil, but once I read some of my collegues emails, i marked them as unread and he didnt know they had been opened. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't anything interesting and I felt a little guilty afterwards.
Maybe wrong but... isn't it possable to request notification of when a sent e-mail has been opened (incase receiver is on holiday, or simply not reading their mail!), ...and 'mark as unread' blocked this notification?
