DivX to Dvd

I have downloaded a DivX file and need to convert it to Dvd. I have tried a couple converters, one only let me do 70% and the other was very complicated. I just want to convert it to DVD to watch on my home DVD player. One said about encoder, I just downloaded the file thinking I could put it on DVD. Please help.

I find the easiest one to use is windows dvd maker otherwise cyberlink powerproducer is simple and easy to use; can easily be found via google as a 30 day free trial.

download a programme called ConvertXtoDVD

you may only find a trial version online, alternatively serach for a torrent if you want the full version

I use DVDFlick

completely free and no trial.

Takes a while though, a couple of hours for a full movie.

I would also download IMGBurn
http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

DVDFlick includes IMGBurn but it burns at max speed which can reduce video quality.
It's best to use DVDFlick up to the point of creating the DVD then use IMG to create the iso file and burn to disc at 1 or 2x
speed.
