For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.you have to wait 7days (i think) from the time your auction finished then report it as unpaid.ebay will then send them a warning you have to wait another 7 days and then they will refund your listing fee to your account and not charge you the final listing fee.click on ebay a-z help and then click on reporting a unpaid item for full information. hope this helps.
Don't worry about negative feedback - you can respond with 'non-paying bidder - reported'
What is the point of the feedback system if people are too frightened of retaliatory feedback to leave honest feedback themselves?
I want to know if somebody makes a habit of bidding for goods and not paying - and the only way to tell is by their feedback.

if the non-payer doesn't respond too the dispute you open within 7 days, then they can't leave negative feedback. You should leave them negative feedback though to warn other people, otherwise the whole system becomes pointless. if you get one back, then respond factually saying something like "Retaliatory feedback. Non-paying bidder, fees reclaimed." or something similar. Any sensible ebayer will not be bothered about that.
If you want to be sneaky avoid leaving the negative feedback until 89 days after the auction finished and they may well not notice and they can't leave you any feedback after 90 days anyway.
If your second highest bidder doesn't want the item, you can relist it for free anyway
Don't leave anything insulting though
