How to ptint 4 copies on one A4 sheet

I am designing children's party invitations and am trying to figure out how to print 4 of them on one A4 sheet. Can anyone help please?

Open a new word document. Click on format, click on columns and select 2 columns. This lays your page out in 2 columns running from top to bottom in the left column and then top to bottom in the right column - like a newspaper.
I would then design the invitation in the top left hand column and cut and paste it 3 times into the bottom left, top right and bottom right columns. You then have 4 invites evenly spaced on the one page.
This might be really awkward compared to how more competent people might do it, but I have done it before and it does work!

keep it simple ... start by using page setup to make the margins as small as possible
use either portrait or landscape layout
then create a 4 cell table with 100% distribution so you use the whole page
You can then create your invite in one of the cells - either directly into the cell ... or into a text box.
