What software are you using? It is usually a straightforward task
Hi spotit3. I'm not great with the old technology but this is the way I would do it using Microsoft Word.
Open a new word document. Click on format, click on columns and select 2 columns. This lays your page out in 2 columns running from top to bottom in the left column and then top to bottom in the right column - like a newspaper.
I would then design the invitation in the top left hand column and cut and paste it 3 times into the bottom left, top right and bottom right columns. You then have 4 invites evenly spaced on the one page.
This might be really awkward compared to how more competent people might do it, but I have done it before and it does work!
Good luck.

Hi Ethel
I am just using Microsoft Word
Follow the instructions here - set it print a multiple of 4 - 24, 28,32 etc ; set the 4 per page option and it will print 4 per page

I seem to be doing something wrong Ethel. When I select four pages per sheet and then print I get the it printed really tiny, in the top left hand corner but nothing printed anywhere else.
If you wanted, you could send it to me and I can email you back a PDF with all four on one sheet?

keep it simple ... start by using page setup to make the margins as small as possible
use either portrait or landscape layout
then create a 4 cell table with 100% distribution so you use the whole page

You can then create your invite in one of the cells - either directly into the cell ... or into a text box.

then copy the whole thing ... and paste into the other three cells ... and print

Thanks to everyone for their help and patience, In the end I opted for the four text boxes on the page and cut and paste.
