Transfering iTunes from PC to Laptop?

I'm thinking of buying a laptop but as I already have a PC which my partner will use, what's the best way to transfer folders across particularly iTunes?

Not too fussed about photo's but it's mostly all my music!

The only way wou can get I-Tunes on your laptop is to download it. Use this link, it comes from the apple website

http://www.apple.com/downloads/

after downloading and installing i tunes copy all music from pc and paste it on to your lap top and off you go. to be honest its quite a a pretty easy task.

Thanks Chris but that's what I need to know! How would I copy and paste from my PC to Laptop?

Would I do it from an USB cable and does having a Mac make a difference as well?
