have you ever bought something from e bay that you weren't happy with? Ive always been lucky, until this week.
After purchasing on there for over 4 years its finally happened, nothing major but an inconvenience all the same.
I bought a new battery for my Nokia and it is rubbish, it runs out in a day so i mailed them! I just got a mail back saying they are so sorry and will send me a replacement, but......wait for this, can i pay postage!!!! Cheek or what??? Grrrr, im not a happy bunny!
Just had another e mail from them after i questioned it and they said, yes, if you would like to pay just 1.00, then that will be very kind of you!!!! WTF???I know its only a quid but i paid my postage first time round.

last time i was home i saw 3 or 4 diffferent nokias on sale in asdas with credit on them too for a tenner
by the time you consider theres a battery and a charger too
you cant buy it seperately for that price
and networks irrelevant if you just want bits
DTH?

i just think its bloody cheeky to expect me to pay postage again. Not sure what i do from here, shall await another mail. I will look into making a complaint if i can skyep. Seems petty for the amount though but its the iprincipal.
legend, my phone is an N73 and i have no intention of having another. I love it, it has a fantastic camera. It was one i got on contract and now i use it as pay as you go. I could never afford a phone of an equal standard now. I havent paid a lot for this battery or the new charger i got so it isnt a problem for me.
BTW, the sellers have great feedback.

A lot of the unbranded replacement batteries are rubbish, sometimes it is a false economy to buy them.I had exactly the same problem with a camcorder battery I bought on ebay last year and I refused the replacement battery and chalked it up to experience, mind you the people I dealt with wanted 5.00 for the postage costs not 1.00.I only ever buy branded now for things like mobiles and cameras.
most of the nokia batteries from china are fakes
i got one with a charger for a fiver ansd it worked fine
others dont
a nokia battery is usually 20 quid so if its under a tenner then its probably not genuine no matter what they telll you.
like i said you can buy a nokia phone for 20 quid maybe 25 in asdas /tescos

Hi jules , unlucky I'd say , but not your fault , you certainly shouldn't have to pay postage on a faulty item but not sure if you will persuade the seller to pay . Batteries do vary don't they , my son had a new phone and from the start he needs to plug it in to charge every night , whereas my phone could easily go 3 or 4 days . xxxxxx
