Epsom RX640 Printer

I have printed quite a lot of manuals lately about 300/400 pages all BW but the black cartridge has gone down as expected but not the yellow which has gone down by more than 3 times and the remaining colours (4) have gone down. Is there a reason for this? TIA

If you are printing a lot of manuals in black and white only you are FAR better using a laser printer than an ink jet.

Laser printers cost FAR less on a page by page basis than an ink jet. They use a toner like a photo copier.

You could have bought this laser printer for �39.30 and saved yourself the cost of all the ink you have used in the ink jet.

My guess is its printing as 4 colour black - it prints the other 3 colours under under the black - if you can set your printer to print black only
