When I try to open My Computer or My Music etc I get the error message, "Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file click the Start button, and then click Search." What does this mean!!?? I cannot access anything on my PC. Help please, and thank you.

Is this only for the default shortcuts, EG: My Computer, My Documents, My Pictures or is it all shortcuts such as to your programs on the desktop?
Press the Windows key and E simultaneously. Does "My Computer" open? If so, the shortcuts have probably been corrupted. You should be able to remap them, but it takes a bit of explaining...
1. Right click on your desktop and select properties.
2. On the first tab (should be Themes) from the drop down box reselect your current theme.
3. The apply box should now become clickable, click this and your default shortcuts should now be restored and repaired.
