Putting songs onto ipod nano

Hi, i didnt get instructions with my ipod. can anyone tell me how i put songs onto it from my computer files. I cannot figure it out.

Have you got iTunes, I think you need to have your music in there, to sync it to your ipod.
I did my sisters for her, but it was a bit trial and error.

Load all your music into iTunes, make playlists etc, plug in your ipod and it will appear in iTunes. If you have the preferences set it will sync automatically, failing that click the sync tab.
