how do i make a copy of a picture in the gallery in order to keep one and also send a copy to a friend...i want 2 of the same photo to burn onto a disc....done it before and have got a mental block having not used photo gallery for a while....help appreciated

just burn 'em all to disc
and then do it again ... 2 copies ... plus the originals
make a new folder ,copy and paste the photo into it.Rename the original (say from 199.jpg to 199a.jpg.copy and paste that into the new folder.You then have two copies in one folder.Burn it to CD

thanks both of you..... ianmunts way was the way ive done it previously...acthe troll thanks but would end up wasting discs and having lots of unnecessary photos thanks for the help
Neither your question nor Ianmunt's answer make any sense to me. If you want to send a copy to a friend, just burn it to a CD. This doesn't remove the original picture, so there is absolutely no reason for creating another copy. Using Ianmunt's method you end up with two identical images on your machine, and two identical images on the CD. What on earth is the point in that?
Not for us to question why,simply gave a way of achieving what fatdancer wanted to do
