Strimmer Line Feed Probs
Any idea why both my ryobi and mc culloch petrol strimmers refuse to let line out when 'bumped'?
The line is the proper diameter, wound on the spool in the correct way (i.e according to the arrows), and I have tried winding the line on using various tensions, but all to no avail!
It seems that the emerging line somehow gets tucked underneath the remaining coils so tightly it gets jammed and will not budge when the strimmer head is bumped.
The strimmer head assemblies are clean, and I have tried a liberal dose of WD40.
I am getting really tired of stopping every 10 minutes or so, dismantling the head, rewinding the line, refitting and restarting. Help!
