I was just reading Top Gear and it said the Mercedes CLS and A - Class were ipod compatible. Just wondering if you have to buy something to make it compatible or is it already intergrated in the car. I'd appreciate the answers as my parents have been asking me to figure it out for them! THANKS

I don't suppose you have to buy anything - after all, if you did, the car wouldn't be advertised as ipod compatible.

Any vehicle with an FM car radio can be made compatible:

it's integrated into the car, but it is NOT standard, it's an optional extra for the Ipod connector.
