Unlocking Sony Ericsson mobile

I have a Sony Ericsson W2001 mobile phone which is locked to vodafone. Does anyone know is there a way to unlock it so I can use 02 sim cards with it?

You can unlock the majority of Sony Ericsson's phones and put generic software on them. This will enable you to use any simcard.
WHERE is the problem - I've heard that the 'backstreet' type mobile shops charge in the vicinity of �30 and can then do it for you.
Suppose you just need to ask around?
