Limewire is excellent, but as with all file-sharing sites, you need to install and use very good virus protection software.

I agree with andy-hughes that Limewire is excellent with regards to choice. However, be warned that "spoof" tracks often appear.

I have had to download more than one version of a track that has been listed as a result of (more than once) finding that my "original" attempt had downloaded someone doing an impression of (I'm presuming) Bill Clinton stating, "My fellow Americans, I did not have s e x with that woman"!

if you are going to use limewire a simple rule to follow

DO NOT download anything that HASN'T got a bit rate in the far right hand column in the search listing
