better AB name

Does anyone else wish they had a better AB name?

When you first sign up, and it asks you for a username, you don't think of anything clever, you just whap down the first thing that you think you won't forget.

But then ... you discover CB, and discover that there are loads of funny and clever names.

If it's not bad enough to go through life with the world's second most boring name*, when you get a chance to pick yourself a good one, you fluff it.



* The world's MOST boring name is Jane without a "y"

I didn't like the one I first signed up with, so I changed it, my original is just a standby now just in case this one gets banned (and to be honest I was surprised I made it to being gray)

Just get yourself another email address eg, hotmail Googlemail etc. and open another account. I haven't been CSIambleside forever...........

I couldn't use my original name from other sites so i just choose my name and date of birth, it's so boring : (

Bit of a kerfuffle to change it. And I don't want to be green! I just wish I'd called myself

if you don't want to be green setup a new name as said above and just don't use it for two weeks. until it is gray. then swap over, and leave JJ as a backup is case you ever get banned for any reason.

mine just describes my favourite bit comedy series, there were a few other contenders for names but this was my first choice

The solution is to have different names for different moods, and also, sometimes a good idea for a name will spring to mind so sign it up before you forget it.

I think I'm just going to start "signing off" my posts with names of my choice.

As some of you might have seen that this name was unavailable for a short while and I had to have a new one PumpkinPie! But I hated being green and ended up not posting too much! I do think I would like to stick with my new name now, but will not be doing it until I am grey again!!!!!

I admit it's not nice being green as you do get treated with a degree of suspicion, which is a little silly as the people that create different names to cause trouble seem to wait until they are gray before using them.
