A friend in Oz who is as untechnical as I am has asked me to get her some DVD's for when I go out in the autumn. Can you play English DVD's on Oz machines? I could never send videos to my brother in Canada because of the different TV systems and wonder if Oz has its own.

basically it depends on the dvd player.... some only play discs from certain areas..eg europe.....others are multi region dvd players which will play discs from different regions
