Runtime error

I am getting this notice everytime I switch on my computer (last 3 days) it says;
Runtime error
Programme:........................................

(and after the programme info it says)

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for information.

Can anyone help please and tell me whats wrong.

What's the programme or is there a random looking filename, eg xrgppt.dll

What is usually the cause is when a file attached to rundll gets removed, but the Run key is left intact.

Have you removed any programs prior to the problem appearing?
Or is there a program that normally starts with Windows not working?
Or did you run a virus or spyware scan?

I haven't removed anything lately and I cannot see any windows programmes not working. The only scans run are by McAvee on a daily basis

In which case, Im guessing McAfee has found and removed a Vundo file but left the Run key.
Vundofix has been withdrawn for the moment while atribune tries to resolve a bug, but run this and see if it gets anything. It has proven to be decent against vundo, but the only way to properly remove that critter is to search for all it's files and regkeys.

Bear in mind, I cant be totally sure this is the case without having real info to work with but running a scan wont do any damage.
