trayapp problem

i keep getting the message on my start up about trayapp.I know this has something to do with my old hp printer that I dont have anymore,how doI remove program from my computer.

you must uninstall the utilities that come with most printers.
(not just delete the files)
in control panel look for add remove programs (in vista programs and features)
look for the hp utilities ... and uninstall them
go back to control panel ... look for printers ... remove the entry for the old hp

Yes i did delete file. I dont have disc anymore.Can you tell me what I need to download from HPsite.Thanks. I am also having trouble with my media player: message reads media player sound device not installed or in use by another program, it has been working up to now, what should I be checking or should I just download new sound driver from Ms updates.
