DVD players which also play AVI?

Are there any DVD players out there which also play AVI. If so do they come with a USB port on them?

Yes, I have a phillips player which plays divX files and also a phillips dvd recorder which also plays divX and has a USB port (Only for AVI / DivX Files)

If you're talking about downloading stuff and then playing it on the DVD player instead of the PC, then yes, they are practically the same thing.

Divx is the type of coding standard used in 99% of the avi's you will download (avi's also come in other flavours apart from divx though).

Loads of dvd players are divx compatible these days - I got one for �20 from amazon and it has played everything I've tried so far
