Canon camera window DC DV 6 for ZoomBrowser EX
Canon camera window MC 6 for ZoomBrowser EX
G726 WMP decoder
Image gateway task for ZoomBrowser EX
Internet library for ZoomBrowser EX
Movie edit task for ZoomBrowser EX Raw image task for Zoombrowser EX
Remote capture task for ZoomBrowser EX
Utilities easy photo print
Utilities Easyprint toolbox
Utilities EOS utility
Utilities photostitch
Utilities for ZoomBrowser EX

Also it doesn't say Canont but I have: Easy-web Print

For my older camera I use Camedia Master which I still have downloaded . Also, I don't have an HP printer anymore but I can't delete HP Image Zone Express.

I have a canon camera but don't use any of the software - I never even installed it.

If you don't use it, remove it.

It is fine to delete the HP software too.

I'm not sure about G726 WMP decoder - I'd leave that.

Ethel, as I transfer photos from camera to computer I suppose I need to download some software, but surely not ALL of this ?? Can you dowload photos without all this stuff?? Can I use by Camedia Master for this ??
Smurf - I put the memory card from my camera in to the memory card on my laptop and get the Windows prompt asking what I want to do with the pictures.

I select 'copy to a folder' and the photos are downloaded to a folder in 'my pictures'. Far quicker than faffing around with camera software.

I can then edit them with software of my choice, if I wish to.

Hi Ethel, I dont have a laptop, just a desktop PC so I dont think I can use a memory card in there can I ?
You certainly can, Smurf. I bought a usb memory card reader for my PC for under 10 (may have been under a fiver) - one of the best things I ever bought for my desktop.

I got mine from PCWorld but this is the sort of thing:

http://www.memorybits.co.uk/categories/card-re aders/763?campaign=google_memory_card_readers& kw=usb+memory+card+reader

It is really so much faster than faffing with the camera software - you won't believe it until you try it.

Ethel, which one of these memory card readers would you recommend? I will give it a try.
I don't like recommending particular products unless I have tried them.

All I can say is that I am very happy with my cheap and cheerful pcworld own brand reader. I've looked on their website for you but can't see it. If you have a PCWorld near you it may be worth a trip.

If I were buying online I would consider this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Media-Reader- MMCmobile-microSDHC/dp/B00109Y2DQ/ref=sr_1_6?i e=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1215623157&sr=8-6

It's not the cheapest but is a recognised make.

Don't buy from eBay unless you can be sure the acutal product is in the UK

Thanks Ethel, three stars as usual. What else can you use the memory stick for ? I am not technical as you can probably tell !! (And I doubt if your name is Ethel but never mind) :)
How dare you! My name IS Ethel. :)

It only reads memory cards :)
