Video Editing
Does anyone know of, or better still, have any experience of using a Video Editing Software that doesn't cost the earth and actually does 'what it says on the tin' first time out and will give me at least 2 video track and 2 audio tracks to work with.
If should also allow me to 'Copy & Paste' material between tracks.
I've got Ulead's version 10 but although it captures the sound from my analogue video sound it deosn't allow me to hear it during the capture process, daft really because it works OK with a digital video input.
AlthoughWindows Movie Maker has 2 Audio tracks it only has 1 video track and although when it's working it's quite good it is very easy to confuse it and a lot of work and time can be wasted when it crashes.
But the most important features are reliability and 2 video and sound tracks.
Any help gratefully received

It may lack the razmatazz of paid-for programs but the results are every bit as good, sometimes better.
