i am not sure that the t22883 lets you add ringtones, unlike ericsson and nokia (almost all of their phones let you add ringtones to them) motorola only recently started to add programmable ringtones to its phones and that only applies to its european phones - the following models can have ringtones typed directly on their keypads through the melody composer function: Timeport P7389 Motorola P250, p280 Motorola V.box, V50, V100, v120c i would check with the shop that you bought your phone in to see if the t2288e has a programmable ringtone function, it may not.
