You could also try your local photographic shop, many of the ones around here still do cine transfers onto DVD.
Or you could try some online places, but I haven't tried these personally I can't comment.
If you go local ask to see an example of a finished DVD as some I've seen are just each reel one after another with no menu or chapters. This means if you stop the disc at a certain poin you will need to shuttle all the way through again to get to the point you last viewed.
Some places charge by the foot, others by the reel so you will need to know how much footage you have before asking for quotes. A small reel holds 50 foot of film which is approx 3 minutes.

How did you get on and who did you use?
I used http://www.cine-to-dvd-transfer.co.uk for my 8mm cine films. However they do 16mm aswell. They charged me a pound a minute.
I suggest you use a company that does a free sample of your films. To be honest I only tried 2 other transfer companies but these appeared to be the best quality. Oh and the irony - they were actually the cheapest out of the three. Good luck.
