porn in junk e-mail

i have ben getting bombarded with porn into my junk email.......i dont mind a bit of porn as any man wouldnt....but this stuff sounds really discusting and filthy...i dont want to open one of these as it will probably encourage them to send more ....how do i get rid of it? i have been reporting it as phishing scam but nothing has worked...

Can you increase your firewall/spam settings?

Keep marking them as spam.

I had to close an e.mail address down in the end due to the amount of crap I was getting.

I don't think you actually have to click on the links in these mails!

I get masses of iffy mail, mostly aimed at men (about 50 a day).. and I really I don't need my p***s to be bigger.. how distressing!

I don't actually think you can stop it, but your email should filter the rubbish out.

Copy and paste the address from @ and tell your email filter to send it straight to trash.

Use your common sense - don't do that if the address is gmail, hotmail, yahooo and so on, otherwise you will be trashing legitimate email. Usually they have very strange email addresses so you can do it that way.

I've had 4 porn spam emails recently but I've had my Hotmail account for best part of 4 years & hardly ever get spam of any description .Don't understand people getting hundreds . Good advice here http://www.bbc.co.uk/webwise/askbruce/articles /email/spam_1.shtml

Spam immediately disappears into a spam folder and you can delete them whenever you want, you don't need to open them.
