How it Works9 mins ago

I have had a freeview box for a couple of years now and up until last week was getting 30 plus channels with excellent reception. Unfortunately , where I live in Southampton, the signal is being blocked by a ship which is docked on Southampton Water for about 10 days now and doesn,t seem in a hurry to leave! Is there any way I can get my good reception back, other than scuttling the ship? For some reason this only affects the ITV channels, ITV 1,2,3, etc. Thank you.

you could try an signal amplifier, but they often don't work (amplified weak bad signals just become strong bad signals!)
the only other way is to get a clear line from your TV aerial to the transmitter, so you either have to scuttle the ship or raise your tv aerial on a bigger pole.
