If I restart my pc and go to check my mail a box appears with my p/word and servers but my server has changed to 127.0.0.1 so I have to go to accounts and change server to my BT one. I authenticate it and it`s fine until I restart. Can anybody help us out. Thanks

Have you recently installed a firewall? Your problem sounds quite strange - a 127.0.0.1 ip address refers to your system i.e. it will not connect to the net. Have you recently installed SP2?

not that i`m aware of, might it have something to do mcafee
