Does anyone know of a book that I can write my family History in. After doing all the research on the net I would like to write it in a book for the family to keep. The only ones I have found are how to research the history, I have already done that !

I was looking for a similar book some time ago and could find notherin - and in the end I was glad as the tree became so vast that it would have been impossible to write it all up. So I decided to store it electronically on a website so that extended and distant family could also view it, contact me and add further information. The website I used was http://tribalpages.com ..... it is free unless you require more space and I pay 18 a year which allows for 1000s and 1000s of words, infinite relatives and 1000 (i think) photos to be unloaded. But I did come across http://www.kalulu.com/heritage-63-c.asp when I was looking and this site allows you to purchase components to make a scrapbook style album to collate your tree/phoots in - so you might find this a usualful alternative.
Not seen them apart from on their website but springback binders are available from
www.my-history.co.uk
I think though with ours we will use a website, the one we are using at the moment is rootsmagic

Thanks to both of you, I really needed a book as I want to give it as a gift for a relatives 70th Birthday. I have found one on Amazon it was quite cheap so have taken a chance.
Have you tried writing one yourself?

I made a book up on a DTP programme, it did take me several years, but if you have done it on MS Word, you can transfer it to MS Publisher, then add pictures later.

This way, you can print it out, making books, or put it on a disk.

Good luck anyway.
There used to be a good range of books available in the Uk which were advertised in Family Tree Magazine, go to familytreemagazine website and look thru their ads. many compilation books are US based and have alot of categories that do not apply to our UK ancestry records therefore u need to check whether the ones you think are suitable actually have the English/Welsh/Scottish style proformas
