burning a copy of data cd

anyone know how to burn a copy of a data cd?

i can do a copy of a music cd or film dvd but unable to copy a data cd i presume its to do with copyright.

it all depends on the nature of the original. Try right-clicking on the disk and choosing 'open' or 'explore' - this will allow you to see what's on the disk.
If for some reason one particular disk will not allow you copy it as one whole disk you could try saving the various elements ina different location on your pc then copying them to a disk.

Do you have Nero ? I use it to do all of my copying.
