Personal CD player

We have a Panasonic sl-sx 315 personal CD player.
We would like to purchase some speakers so that we can both listen in.
Will any make of speakers be compatible, or do we have to have panasonic ones?

Any make should do, as long as you buy ones specific for portable equipment aas they will connect via a small jack plug into the headphone socket. You can also use them on mp3 players etc
