I've just done a check on Browser Security and the only suggestion that came out of it was to consider disabling JavaScript(ActiveScripting). Thanks to Google I now know how to do this . Should I do so and, if I do, what changes would I expect to see arising from it?

You will do no harm by disabling JavaScript however some sites (and the number is increasing) need this to function correctly. They should give you a message telling you this.

So disable it and go about your everyday and see if you need JavaScript.

You will probably end up turning it back on though.
