Graphical Network map
3 Answers
I need a network tool that shows a graphical representation of network connections
a sort of flowchart of the IP addresses the machines on the network are accessing.
currently I'm using
http://www.networkactiv.com/PIAFCTM.html
(in graphical packets mode)
but it's a little bit quirky ... and the refresh rate is a bit quick for what I want.
I've googled over a quite a time now ... sniffer pro is excellent ... but vv expensive as is colasoft

It's the graphical display I'm after - (perhaps strangely) not the actual sniffer.
The package itself is not a patch on wireshark ....
but the graphical display - realy shows how lan and the internet work and interract
(you should at least look - try it and see - interesting and novel if nothing else)
