Future of Internet - BBC Radio 2

A few months ago I heard a prog on radio 2 (possibly radio4) about the future of the Internet.

This bloke was being interviewed and he had predicted what the internet/and our PCs will be like in the future. For e.g. you buy theatre tickets and your Calendar AUTOMATICALLY pops up etc.

Can anyone remember the name of him or the name he gave the future of the internet? All help much appreciated (PS have tried looking on the BBC's website already)
