my university has banned youtube in the computer labs where computer students can spend their free time. they havent exactly banned it, its just that whenever i try to open youtube the university website pops open. is there a way i can open youtube on the computer i work without any one knowing it. i swear i am only using it to download videos for my presentations.

It would be nearly impossible to access a site without the university being able to find out - my router logs every web page visited, for example.

If I marked a paper full of ripped clips - it's like regurgitating half a book in your essay to make up the word count - it would get a looooowwwwww mark.
all you are doing is proving that google works - if you stick to uTube .... you aren't even doing that .... just narrowing an already narrow viewpoint
You need to try being original .... or the next texts you learn for presentation will end ...

as a computer student you should have some inkling (that's a big word isn't it?) of how comprehensive institutional monitoring can be .... given that many of the tools are developed in university ... the likelihood is that it's going to be even tighter
