Don't know whether this is related to problems I have with AB on firefox, but just received this error message on the AB page:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0009'

Subscript out of range: '[number: 1]'

/Includes/ad_network.asp, line 101

(And it's not the only error message I've received: I frequently get a page not found when attempting to open various links.)

This message appears when there is a delay in connecting to AB - whether you are using IE or Firefox. The problem seems to be with AB server.
I have had similar probs with FireFox chrisrob,
mostly on A/B, and thinking of getting rid.
It is AB at fault - not your pc, your internet connection or your browser
I have had terrible trouble with AB using Firefox. Blank pages, impossible connection and the most iritating of them all, it would open up, let me write my reply then was impossible to send. I put this on AB some time ago , got replies, but no solution. I have uninstalled Firefox and gone back to Internet Explorer and AB problems have been solved............I hope!
I, on the other hand, have problems with Internet Explorar, and Firefox seems to be my best bet, although as previously mentioned, it closes down regularly!!
As Ethel says, the problem is with AB - not IE, not Firefox, not Safari, not Chrome: AB, pure and simple.

sqad617, you can hope all you like, but changing your browser will not solve the mixture of insufficient bandwidth, poor programming, and overstretched database server that is AB.
Hi 'chrisrob' and others..........there was a post last week on the same subject....I posted this comment.....I have always had trouble with firefox on AB......and use to switch back to IE for AB use....now I use chrome ..no problems anywhere !...would never go back to firefox or IE .....
How can you say AB is at fault when all other browsers use AB without a problem. How blinkered an attitude is that, but very typical of Firefox users I find

I know camioneur dislikes Firefox. I have four different browsers on my machine. My wife uses IE8 all the time as I used to. We both find it crashes frequently and has (until we download the latest update) no way of recovering lost tabs.
My preference for Firefox has been because it is the fastest of my browsers - possibly due to Adblock plus. However, I will try using OPera and Chrome with AB more. I'm certainly not blinkered.
"How can you say AB is at fault when all other browsers use AB without a problem. "

Simple - they can't.

Whether or not you get problems depends simply on how many other people are on at the time, and what they are doing.
sorry chrisrob, I wasn't accusing you of wearing the blinkers.

You also misunderstood me if you think I don't like Firefox because i do. it's just that I don't care for the "Firefox is better than anything else attitude as it clearly isn't. There are people on here that will argue all day about it's better this and better that and I'm sure if you're a geek then that's great. For most of the people on the internet, they're not interested in security and the the like, they're interested in a browser that works. I use Avant as a preference. i have done for years. It was using tabbed browsing years before IE before everyone shouts at me and says it's just a front for IE. I know it is and don't care. What I do care about is having a browser that works. Firefox is unable to show pages that I need to show and struggles with AB. Avant doesn't struggle with any of it so that's why I use it. I don't say it's better, I say that it works.

Thanks camioneur. I'm downloading Avant as I write this. I haven't tried it.
