can anyone help please?
My Epson C46 printer has stopped working. Both green power light and red maintenance buttons are flashing alternately. There is no paper jammed.
Thanks

It might be worth uninstalling the drivers and after restarting the computer re-install them following all instructions including leaving the printer off until asked to switch on.
Hopefully you might get an answer from someone who knows a sure quick solution. In all honesty, it is not worth the expense of getting a printer fixed these days unless it is a real gung-ho one.

I colleague of mine had a similar problem with his Epson printer. He claimed that Epson printers came with a time-bomb which prevents the printer from working after a set period/number of prints.
He found a piece of software on the Web which overcame the problem and got his printer going again. I think he got the software via www.download.com.
Whether is it true that Epson printers have time-bombs embedded within their software, I cannot say but if true, it would be a damning indictment against any claim Epson might have, in terms of environmentally friendly products.

See this post for input from various people (including myself) on the subject of recommended printers.

I would not recommend an all in one printer solution - once one part fails, you need to chuck the whole thing away.
