I have uploaded some photos but I cannot get another screen I would like to edit some.I know it must be something simple

I apologise that this isn't a direct answer to your question but I'm hoping that you'll post a response, with further information, so that I (or others) can help you.

Adobe Photoshop is a (wonderful) program but it's not a website. Therefore, I can't see how you can 'upload' anything to it.

Also, why are you trying to open another 'screen'? (I'm guessing you mean 'window' here). Is it that you can't see any image at all, or are you trying to extract detail from one image and use it in another?

Please tell us whether your post refers to a website or a program. Assuming that you are referring to the Photoshop software, please tell us which version you're using. (Photoshop 6? CS? Elements?). Then please tell us what you mean by 'edit'. (Are simply seeking to 'optimise' an image, or are you trying to do something far more advanced?).

I am only a beginner,I read in a magazine That I could get photoshopexpress.com ,upload some photos from my collection and then edit them better than I have been doing.
I have uploaded and selected but then I cannnot get any further I dont seem to be able to find open or edit justa screen with the photos on(I really am a beginner)

My first concern with that site is this quote which I found:
"Note that the current beta is for US residents only. You may experience slow performance when using Photoshop Express outside the US".

A 'beta' site is one which is considered good enough to be put online, so that users may report any errors, but it's not yet the 'final product'. Also, as the Answerbank is UK-based, I'm assuming that (like me) you're in the UK, which means that there's the additional problem of slow performance. (I'm still on dial-up and pages are taking over 10 minutes to load. Even on broadband, things can't be very quick). Further, it seems that the full functions of that site will only work with Flash Player 9. (Unless you've got a fairly new PC, with all of the relevant updates, you might well not have that available to you).

So, regrettably, I can't directly assist you in trying to get that site to work. (I'm using Windows ME, on dial-up, with the wrong version of Flash Player).

However, please allow me to point you in the direction of some decent photo-editing software:

Serif is a wonderful (British) software company who give away most of the older versions of their software for free. In particular, you can get hold of version 6 of Photoplus as a free download. (Later versions add more 'bells and whistles' to the program but most people don't need them; Photoplus 6 is a great program anyway):

Picasa is a free download from Google. I've not tried it but it gets good reviews:

Irfanview is mainly known as a viewing (rather than editing) program for images but it does offer quite a few useful facilities for image editing:

GIMP is regarded as the closest (free) thing to the professional's choice of Photoshop. The downside is that, like Photoshop, it takes quite a bit of time to get to grips with the way that it works:

photoshop is a great software, we use it all the time in our course. i dont understand how you want to upload the photos. photoshop has nothing to do with the internet, if you meant how to do different processes to each image, you can set up actions so the software will batch process the images, and you can batch process an entire folder under the 'automate' section.
