How can I delete these files?
A few weeks ago when attempting to restart my laptop from hibernation, I was informed my profile was corrupt!
Using a temporary profile, I set up a new identity with administrator priviledges (as per MS "help" file instructions) but was still not allowed into any of my files.
I have rebuilt my setup with backed up files but still have a large amount of room on the hard drive occupied by the previous files that I am not even able to delete as I don't have permission.
Any ideas how I can free up that part of the hard disc without resorting to reformating and reinstalling the OS?
ps. I have XP Pro with SP3
