Easy merging of photographs...

Is there any EASY way to merge photographs in Adobe Photoshop?
I have googled and used the Help function on the Adoble website but I find is just so difficult to follow.
Does anyone know of a link to an 'easy' step-by-step guide on how to do it - or is it just too difficult for a novice to attempt?
All I want to do is join 6 pics together and print them off..nothing too fancy!
As always any advice would be appreciated.

Like to make a panorama?

File -> Actions -> Photo merge.

(Sorry, I forget if it's called 'actions' or not. But it's in there in CS3 -- towards the bottom of the menu.)

You click that, point it to your photos, and it does the rest.
