Some help please

I have been having major problems with my home internet connection, I am with Orange and have been getting "ASDL Link down" for about a fortnight and the techys were able to reconnect me but it kept disconnecting every few days and now it is completely "goosed" (techy term)! They have tested my line BT connection and cant identify a problem. Has anyone here had problems like this and if so any hints on how to rectify? Orange have said that they will get the techys back onto it, but any help would be appreciated.

Steve.5 I have been with them for a couple of years. The livebox is connected correctly, there is nothing else linked to the BT connection and they have carried out a line test. Its puzzling and frustrating as they don�t seem to be in any hurry to fix it either. I am phoning my niece tomorrow to get her to contact Orange again to see if there has been any progress.
good luck with that we were with orange a few yrs ago while they were called wanadoo and then orange took over and it never got any better, might as well had dial up, now have a fairly quick reliable service from aol wireless broadband for next to nothing a mth and all landline calls are free. great job!!
