international phone charges

help! has anyone used any of these cheap phone call companies for these kind of calls.I just found acouple of them on the internet.is it a good thing as my daughter is in eygpt.

I use telediscount to call my parents in france and my brother in oz, both only cost 1p per min.

Egypt is 9p per min to landlines and 10p per min to mobiles.

Try Lebara, you can get the sim from Phones for you. I pay 4p a minute to call the states, mobile to mobile. Try skype too. That is 1.2p per minute.

Lebara have their own website and will send you a simcard.chrap mobile to mobile or mobile to landline calls .


i have a lebara mobile here in spain.


Alternatively just buy an international calling card at your localpost offfice and use froim your homephone dialling a freephone number
the 10 pound card gets better value.you can even buy it online and they email you a pincode .try the post office website for info
