i am getting hounded by a number!!

i am on tps numbers, keep getting rung by a 0870 number, several times times a day, when i dial 1471 sometimes It seems to know if have done this and tries to call again and i dont pick up, whats happening!!!

No idea why but when i worked in call centres we sometimes got tps numbers and then we had to take them off our systems. If you answer the phone, find out who it is and ask them to delete your number. If they don't then report them to the TPS!!

Don't be too harsh on them though, call centres are not nice work as it is lol

TPS doesn't apply if they are a foreign company, calling from abroad.

It could be a debt collection agency, or a company you have dealt with in the past, and the TPS doesn't apply to those scenarios.

Have you tried googling the number?

Just a point of interest here - I have Orange BB and because Orange are owned by a French company, all my outgoing calls are routed first to France and then back to the UK. Friends who have caller ID tell me that I sometimes appear as an international dialing code and sometimes as a Manchaster dialing code, and NO I don't live anywhere near Manchester !!

So be careful if you have any friends are associates using Orange BB!
