Signing into windows

I have a laptop that asks me to sign into windows, Idon't have the sign in info. What can I do?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you can't obtain the password form the original owner, tyhen really the only way you have of changing the password is to remove the battery inside the PC and then to get access to the BIOS next time you start up and enter a new passowrd, or bypass the password function altogether.
If you are not technically minded, that all may be rather difficult for you. Is there a local PC shop or someone who can help you do this?

sorry web ... but not so - if it's the windows password
if it's the bios ... removing the battery will start the process ... but if it's a big backup capacitor .. it could take 3 months to discharge
with a desktop it's far easier ... there is generally a link or pins
the only way is to use a password reset disk ... or to rebuild the machine
