Microsoft Word and outlook questions.... help
3 Answers
Hey all - hope your all good.
Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes....
Word - If you accidently 'save' instead of 'save as' and annoying write over a valuable document can you undo the save??? It doesnt appear so but didnt know if anyone knew of a cheat or shortcut?
Word - if you happen to type a sentence without noticing the caps lock is on or vice versa - is there a cheat to alternate between caps and lower case without having to retype the whole thing?
Outlook - printing an email - can you just print the most recent reply? Everytime I print something for the file it prints the whole thing off???
Thanks
Lucy

To change uppercase text to 'normal' just select it all then click Format then Change Case, and then Sentence Case.
Just select all the older email text and delete it before sending it to the printer.

If I am going to create a New Word document based on an older Word document I do as follows:
Open the "old" Word docment.
Before making any changes do Save As to save it with a new name.
Then open the NEW document and work on that.
If you get into the habit of doing that you will never overwrite an old word document.
As webdude says, always backup important files, either to another folder on the same disk, or on another hard disk (maybe external) or best on to CD or DVD, then they can never be overwritten.
