A Greek symbol in Word?

Anyone know if I can type Greek symbols in Word please? And if so, can you tell me how to do it?

You could use the character map in system tools and copy and paste the symbol.
In Word, click on Insert then in drop-down menu click on Symbol -

This site has a full list of characters and symbols that are available. Just Press the "ALT" key and the relevant number for the symbol.

Which version of Word are you using ?

When I start it up it says 'Word 2000 Microsoft Office'. I know very little about computing and I didn't realise there was more than one version .... or should it have Word II or something like that after it?
