Desktop icons fade away?
Dear folks,
I need help for my PC. I am using windows vista operating system my monitor is Samsung 741 MP recently I noticed that icons on my desktop sometimes fade away you can notice the shadow of icons & it happens with the text as well but when I restart the computer it works fine but slowly it starts again I tried to change the resolution in display setting as well but in vain. Is it a computer software problem or monitor problem?
Any idea?
Cheers!

My first thought, strange fault either in the monitor or the graphics card, I'd go for monitor first as its a) most likely and b) the easiest to check, just borrow and try another monitor.
I suspect this one is a hardware fault though... things fading away would be a strange software fault (unless it's a really really weird problem with the power saving!)
In case this is a common fault that I'd never seen I goggled it... notice you posted the question word for word on yahoo answers (devoted?) :)
