backing up photos

Can you please tell me how i can back up my personal my photos from my laptop can you give me this step by step please.

I don't know if you have XP or Vista, or what medium you want to use to back them up to - cd, dvd, usb flash drive, external hard drive.....

However, in XP, open your My Pictures folder.

Click 'edit' and 'select .all'

The option will appear in the left hand pane 'copy selected items'. Click that and click the chosen destination - cd, dvd whatever. That's it.

Unless you want to back them up to an online storage facility such as photobucket or flickr?
