How do you change the measurement units on MS Powerpoint and Excel to metric. It doesn't seem to be possible from the applications themselves and the Help feature has come up with nothing. I'm using Windows 98.

You can change the measurment system from US to Metric in regional settings in the control panel or at least you can on NT4...I'd imagine that other windows versions have something similar, but I don't have them in front of me to check
Often settings like this aren't kept in a single application, but are specific to the computer. Using XP (I expect 98 should be the same) they're under Regional Options in Control Panel, where you set Language, Number grouping & Currency etc. First try setting to the English (United Kingdom) standards, but if this doesn't change it you might need to click "Customize" (how ironic) and change Measurement System to Metric.
