Hotmail

I have just had a really weird thing going on whilst rtying to sign into my hotmail email account.
First of all I tried to use MSN Explorer to sign in (as I normally do), and it said that they couldn't sign me in because of either a problem with their server or my Internet connection. I then tried opening Internet Explorer and my Internet connection was fine. However, when I tried to sign on to Hotmail, it asked me to update my information or something and I had to enter my password and instead of clicking sign on say that I agreed to their terms os use or something. After I had done this, it defaulted back to that screen, but without my password. I kept trying and trying to log on in this way but nothing. My Mum then tried logging on to her Hotmail account, which proved to be problem free! I was then really worried that someone hd hacked into my email account and changed my password. In the end, I had to go through the forgotten password area of the site and change my password in order to log in, which was fine. I just wondered if anyone who had a hotail ******* had experienced the same problem, or if anyone can advise me accordingly. I had a problem a while ago when someone hacked into my Paypal account and tried to get loads of money out of it, as well as got into my email and sent all my contacts someo dodgy email about a Chinese enterprise! Since then, I have updated and sorted out (at least I hope so!) my virus software and changed every password that I have and do so regularly. Can anyone help?

that was really hard to read. What exactly are the facts?
If you are getting your accounts hacked you need to look at how your are conducting your personal security.
Are you logging onto other peoples machines, who has access to yours, how strong are your passwords etc.
Also google 'free computer security guides' and see what comes up for extensive advice.
