Hi. I`m on vigin dial up and want to go to broadband.
Whats the best all round package? I wont be downloading loads of films or music.

Vodafone - good price �15 per month, good signal in most parts of country and fastest on the market.

The only cheaper ones under �15 are on 3 and t-mobile but both have crap signal

Mobile broadband is fine for when you need it - when you're mobile. As a replacement for fixed line broadband it is very unsatisfactory.

Why not go with Virgin cable broadband?

Assuming you are in a virgin cabled area then I agree with Ethel, if not then do you have sky TV already, if so their bundles are fairly good value.
