Sky High Definition Television Broadcast
5 Answers
I have heard from somewhere (?) that there isn't a lot of picture quality diffence between a standard 28 inch LCD television and a 28 inch television showing an HD picture. As I understand the difference is more prominant on the larger screens. Can anyone confirm this.
The question arises because I am pondering on whether to upgrade my (standard) sky subscription to the HD Sky+ box, but not sure if I will see much of a difference on a 28 inch screen, as I am quite happy with the picture I already receive. Has anyone been in this position and made the 'change' - and can comment.

strictly speaking it is also not true that a sky+ box does all the things an hd box does. 1 the hd hard drive is 6-7 times larger (i think) and 2 you will receive 'sky anytime' which cherry picks progs/movies etc that are instantly available to watch 'anytime' with no adverts.
